Job Description / Responsibility

  • Preparation of payment vouchers with ensuring deduction of Taxes & VAT;
    Keeping invoices, staff advances other documents and records properly & safely;
    Data entry in accounting system;
    Prepare staff payroll and others.
    Update all financial books and records as per financial procedures following CODEC, USAID and Winrock’s financial compliance
    Ensure a mechanism of all expenses including district offices to keeping controlling within total approved budget.
  • Maintain all the personal Files of the Project Personnel properly.
    Maintain leaves records including annual or sick leave along with other travel approval documents properly.
    Maintain and update all bill and vouchers of every expenses of the program
    Ensure maintenances of purchase procedures.
    Prepare periodic (monthly, quarterly, annual) financial report and submit to Project Coordinator within 5th day of each following month so that Project Coordinator can submit it within 10th day of each month to Donor.
    Assist and orient the respective Accounts Personnel to ensure financial and administrative responsibilities in the District Offices.
    Ensure the accounts keeping, stock registers and establish a financial controlling mechanism with all districts offices.
  • Ensure a physical inventory records in each district office and ensure to update it on quarterly basis.
    Visit Project Coordinator’s Office and working in the field following guidance of Project Coordinator and submit findings reports for effective and transparent financial management.
    Assist Manager-Finance & Admin in all sorts of administrative tasks as well as Nobo Jatra Program financial management if necessary.
    Carry out any assigned task need to be accomplishing within the due time as instruction given by Project Coordinator, Manager-Finance & Admin and Head Office Financial Personnel.
    Prepare monthly, quarterly and Annual Project Financial Reports
    Preserve invoices and all other related documents, so that internal & external Audit could be performed without any objections.

  • Age 30 to 35 year(s)
    At least 05 years’ experience in development sector and minimum 03 years working with finance & administrative activities under USAID funded projects.
    Planning and administrative management skills
    Maintain and check the log books of the motorcycles
    Ensure security of the assets and office
    Financial controlling and financial reporting skills
    Good Computer operation in MS Word, Excel, Internet and email communication
    Excellent communications skills.
